Even though Steve is a Chevy / LS guy, he has done excellent work on my classic 442. He's worked on it both this year and last year and did a great job. If he or Jonas are not familiar with the problem or the parts, they both do excellent research which results in a job well done! You can't go wrong with Steve's Automotive.

I was fortunate to meet Steve a couple years ago when he took over the location in Peoria from my long-time mechanic, Doyle Automotive. I have had Steve work on many vehicles that I own and he always does GREAT work and a fair price. Steve is extremely knowledgeable and I have not found any problem he can't quickly diagnose and repair. As I own some older cars with high mileage, some of my repairs would prove too challenging for other mechanics. I've never had an issue Steve can't resolve. I couldn't exactly figure out what was causing my car to have low power. When I took it to Steve he did a back pressure test and recommended that I replace my catalytic converter. It completely fixed my car and was done at a reasonable price. I'll be going back to Steve for all my automotive repairs. He was also incredibly professional. The person at the counter was also very sweet when I dropped it off.

Does great work and doesn't take advantage like other places. Busy place, but I always get great service and in a timely manner. Good mechanics are hard to come by these days. Most people are part changers, not Steve. Wish there were more honest people in this world. Thanks Steve. You have made Dave's former customers very happy.
